Thanks Pasadoble glad you liked it. I know it's not everyone's taste of music here, but by posting this it shows how using some creativity can really pay off. Plus this was done on a Nintendo DS game system of all things using a "pocket synth" app from Korg and XSeed Games----not to mention the app cost $36.00 too

If you guys heard the default kit before I tweeked it you'd really understand how tweekable this thing is...... The bass drum and snare are so far from the default it's not even funny.

Hmmmm.... what offering?????

IM not big on the Hip Hop repetitive one note style either but I sure enjoy messing withc the Korg Kaoss in the store. I have these software synths,,,real synths where you have to adjust everything filters, envelopes, wave types....Lots of software knobs. I can appreciate the work that goes into a simple sounding loop. I don;t have the patience (or the ear) to create from scratch works like that. I do have a crapload of Acid loops though...Does that count?

Squeak!

Its wonderful! Great work!

I appreciate the work you did as my very first keyboard was a Kawai synth which I used to play ALOT of hip hop on and needed to configure everything!

I am in my senior years now and still enjoy creating hiphop on my very un-hip hop S700!! LOL.

I am going to order the Korg synth for my DS. That will be fun to play around with.

Reminds me of the Amiga days hehe remember hiphop on the Amiga?

Pasadoble.., great song man! That sax sounded nice

Linda..., I totally understand what you mean about your S700 being unhip. I realized a very long time ago that no arranger is going to pull off hip hop. They just don't have the sounds (both kits and patches for it). Also..., arrangers sequencers both song and style do not work well for this either. You really need a dedicated pattern sequencer with the ability to "patter chain".

I remember the Amiga's.. Wow.., wasn't that back in the late 80's and early 90's?

If you get the DS Linda.., I'll pass you my edits for that kit I used.

Squeak when I get a chance I'll record a hip hop/house style Jam using ONLY my Acoustica Mixcraft recording program library loops for you. There is some really great stuff in there.

Sorry, no harmony, no melody, just a little bit primeval rhythm out of the jungle. I can't feel a little bit of european or later on american culture. May be, some people are with me , some not. Only my opinion.
Best regards
Peter
